Dr. Marie Eugene is an Associate Professor of Neurology and an epileptologist at the University of Connecticut (UConn) School of Medicine. She served as the Neurology Clerkship Director for nearly a decade and currently holds the role of Clinical Principal in the Office of Clinical Medical Education, where she oversees all third- and fourth-year clerkships. Driven by her commitment to medical education, Dr. Eugene pursued a Master of Science in Health Professions Education. She serves on the Executive Council of the Association of Academic Leaders of Neurology (AALN, formerly AUPN) as the Clerkship Director representative and is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology’s Conference Subcommittee. In 2024, she was honored with the AUPN Faculty Leadership Award.
