Tamara Kaplan, MD, FAAN, is a medical educator at Harvard Medical School and Mass General Brigham with educational leadership roles spanning undergraduate, graduate, and continuing medical education. She serves as Vice Chair for Education in the Mass General Brigham Department of Neurology, Clerkship Director for the required four-week Neurology Core Clerkship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Course Director for Mind, Brain, and Behavior, the preclinical neuroscience course at Harvard Medical School. She also leads Mass General Brigham CME courses and speaks nationally on medical education. Dr. Kaplan is a recipient of the Neuroscience Course Director Award and the A. B. Baker Teacher Recognition Award from the American Academy of Neurology. She is fellowship-trained in Multiple Sclerosis, completed her neurology residency at the Harvard Neurology Program, and graduated AOA from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
